About me

Hi, I’m Kasia Bytnerowicz–an award-winning creative professional with many years of experience in interactive design, UI, UX, and branding. Weaving together art, technology, and business acumen to bring creative solutions to diverse projects. Breaker of silos. Building agile, resilient, and high-performing teams that embrace the culture of continuous improvement. Infusing Design Thinking practices throughout the entire organization, from Design to Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.

  • I led an integrated design team of UX, UI, and visual designers responsible for product design and corporate and product branding. Focusing on a consistent and delightful end-to-end customer experience across all of the company’s touch points.

    - Introduced best-in-class tools and developed a robust user research practice.

    - Led a cross-functional team of senior managers responsible for launching our first subscription product, setting up the infrastructure and creating a seamless membership experience.

    - Standardized the design of iZotope’s desktop products, focusing on an improved user experience, a unified, component-based UI look and feel, and product branding

    - Updated the company’s branding, including a new logo, style guide, web site, and other corporate materials.

    - Led the creative side of the rollout of Spire Studio, iZotope’s first consumer hardware product. Together with the team designed the UI and UX for the mobile app, as well as branding, web site, and event collateral.

  • I led the branding effort to update the design of Datto’s backup and recovery products to position the company as a serious player in the backup and disaster recovery space

    - Created an interactive style guide to ensure a unified look and feel for software UI and all marketing materials

    - Led the hardware and software redesign effort, focused on bringing a unified branded look to the entire suite of products

  • I was brought on to create a digital design function at a company that traditionally relied on printed materials. I developed the creative strategy and managed innovative marketing initiatives including property branding, web sites, advertising, print collateral, iPad publications, e-mail campaigns, interactive new business presentations, blog, and events.

I managed the presentation of research on the corporate web site, launching the redesign of the U.S. research section with a new home page, data visualization of real estate statistics, and interactive versions of key reports.

That work won me and my research partner the DaVinci Award, the internal annual award for innovation.
